Unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype. $13 with tax and tip for this half grinder. While the taste was good, the size absolutely didn't warrant the price (as you can see it wasn't even the advertised 8") and the fillings fell short. Maybe you'll have a better experience.......

I stopped in on 10/26/23 around 0ne PM and was told that I could only order ham or Genoa grinders. No hot grinders available either. I called today the 28th and asked if they would have any luncbmeat in there grinder shop or hot grinders available today??? The girl who answered the phone said sometimes they get busy. She wouldn't even answer my questions when I told her what happened 2 days ago. All she said is that sometimes they get busy. I asked her if anything would be available later today. She didn't even answer me, she just stayed silent on the phone with no answer

I had a Deluxe Italian Combo half grinder. This is a half grinder anybody that can eat a whole is my hero. Lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños and oil and vinegar was added. This was a phone order placed grinder. The roll got a little soggy by the time I got it. Not a fault of HGG. If you order ahead maybe skip the liquid.

These sandwiches are enormous and very tasty. Great bread too. I suggest ordering ahead either by phone or online.

Portions DOUBLE the size of similar restaurants serving small and large grinders made with fresh, perfectly proportioned, meats, cheeses, and condiments. I suggest the "Thanksgiving" grinder; but order early because they sell out often, only making so much freshly baked turkey every morning. The prices are a little on the expensive side but like I said you get a HUGE proportion.

Turkey and roast beef are cooked in house. Fantastic! But the Bread is what makes the difference in every other grinder. We love the italian. It is tasty! Our top grinder place in the area.
